Located in Wuhan, China, the venue includes a competition pool, diving pool, and training pool, serving as an important aquatic sports center in Hubei Province.

To support high-level sports events and improve visual performance, the venue underwent a comprehensive lighting system upgrade based on the Chinese sports venue lighting standard JGJ153-2016.
