Project Case
Chengdu University Sports Complex – Universiade Venue Sports Lighting System
Chengdu University Sports Complex served as one of the key venues for the 31st FISU Summer World University Games. Before the Chengdu Universiade, the campus sports facilities underwent significant upgrades, covering competition venues, training grounds, athlete support facilities, and broadcast infrastructure.
The venue complex was designed to support international university sports competitions and meet the stringent requirements of HDTV broadcasting and global event operations. Professional LED sports lighting helped provide reliable, high-quality illumination for athletes, spectators, event teams, and broadcast production.
Lighting Built for International Competition
For a multi-sport university venue, lighting must deliver stable brightness, strong visual comfort, and consistent performance across different sports scenes. The upgraded lighting system supports competition-level visibility while maintaining a clean visual environment for the audience and venue staff.
The system supports professional event operation by improving court visibility, broadcast image quality, and overall venue presentation. This is especially important for international events where lighting must satisfy both on-site performance and media production requirements.

A Modern University Sports Venue Upgrade
The project reflects how professional sports lighting can upgrade a campus sports complex into a venue capable of hosting large-scale international events. With improved lighting performance and broadcast-ready visual quality, the complex can continue to support university sports, training, competitions, and future event operations.
